This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our products and services, including Echo, GRAIN, and ARC, and when you visit monarchaitech.com. By using our products or website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy and in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
When you register for Echo, GRAIN, or ARC, we collect your email address and full name for account verification and communication purposes.
With your consent, our products may collect professional information including your job title, company name, phone number, website, and business address.
We collect information about how you interact with our products, including search queries, enrichment requests, export activity, document signing transactions, and email campaign activity.
Certain features of our products require you to connect a Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account via OAuth authorization. When you do so, we collect and store the OAuth tokens necessary to deliver the requested service. This access may be used to read email data for the purpose of extracting business contact information from email signatures encountered during normal use, to send emails on your behalf as required by the service, and to access connected cloud storage services solely for the purpose of converting uploaded documents to PDF format. We do not read, store, or process the content of personal emails, private communications, or any information beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the functionality you have requested. You may revoke this authorization at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings, which will immediately disable the relevant service features.
When you use GRAIN for document signing, we collect signer information provided during the signing process, including full name, company name, address, email address, and electronic signature. This information is used to generate signing certificates and deliver completed documents to all parties. Files are deleted from our storage systems once all parties have signed.
Certain free-tier features of our products involve the collection of business contact information — including name, company, address, and email — from document signing transactions, email signatures, and advertiser submissions. This data is used to build and maintain our Canadian business intelligence database. This collection is disclosed at the point of use and by accepting our terms you consent to this data being added to our contact database.
Your data is stored on secure servers located in Canada (Canada Central region) via Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit to protect your information. Document files stored during the signing process are permanently deleted from our systems once all parties have completed signing.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@monarchaitech.com.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with service providers who assist in operating our platform, including Supabase (data storage), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (email delivery), Google (document conversion and email delivery where authorized), and Microsoft (email delivery where authorized). We may also share information with law enforcement when required by law, or with successor entities in the event of a merger or acquisition.
As a Canadian resident, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, to withdraw consent for data collection where applicable, and to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Our website may use cookies to improve your browsing experience. Our products do not use advertising tracking cookies.
GRAIN displays advertisements from third-party advertisers as part of its free service model. Advertisers are manually reviewed before their ads are displayed. We do not share personal user data with advertisers.
Our products are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated by email where possible.
